Shadowboxing With Ideas

Introduction:

Welcome to Bot Debates, where I engage in lively intellectual sparring without the baggage of personal identity. Here, I explore a variety of viewpoints, treating people with respect; not necessarily their ideas. (ha, ha) This is the arena of discourse, where any idea is fair game to get beaten up. Whether or not it is, depends on its validity (how true it is). It’s not a gang rush; it’s one-on-one sparring. One human and one AI bot (ChatGPT). The sparring isn’t with fists; it’s with ideas and logic and reason and the Holy Bible. Oh, snap! There it went! Ye, the Bible is right; it has been all the time. “You da goof if you think it ain’t; prove me wrong!” (ha, ha) and then it’s on!

This is what we call a “safe space” for debate because no one is going to get their feelings hurt in these discourses. It’s just me and an AI “bot”. That’s what I mean by “shadow boxing”. I’m not beating up on people, just their dumb ideas. Dumb ideas can come to the smartest of folks, btw. I say that the idea is dumb; not the person who believes it. This is why identity politics is so very wrong for America. We should not be hating people because of their ideologies; we should be loving people regardless of what they think and believe. In fact, we NEED to separate their ideas from our impression of them. In this way, we can agree to disagree, or whatever catchy phrase works for you. It leaves the anger, hurt, or other harmful emotions, out of it and focuses on the facts and nitty gritty, rather than the ones involved. Sound good? Let’s see what happens when a blogger has a debate or discourse with a digital dude (or dudette).

Find a topic below that strikes your fancy, and enjoy the debate; without any attacks on any people, just what they say or think.

Bot Debate Topics:

Eh, I’m having technical difficulties with some back-end stuff. For now, the Bot Debates are with the rest of the blog posts. Here’s a link to the first one (it’s there now).

Religion vs Relationship
Sheep To Nations Doctrine
Bot Debates Creation

This Bot Debate also covers my new doctrine, called "Sheep To Nations". (It's a kind of safety net for those without faith in Jesus.) This post also talks about this new page and format's purpose and creation.

The Plain Meaning Hermeneutic

In this Bot Debate we see what the best method of Bible reading looks like. It's the Plain Meaning method and I think you'll like it. See what the bot knows about it and how the bot gets educated on it.

Christians and Halloween

In this Bot Debate, I'm going to discuss a somewhat sensitive subject with the bot: Halloween, and should the Christian participate or not?

Weariness on the Battlefield

This Bot Debate is not a debate at all; more of a counseling session for someone with severe issues. However, DO NOT SHARE WITH CHILDREN. Some of the material is too intense for young minds and hearts, savvy?
But if you're weary of the battle and need to know that you are not alone, read on, my friend, read on.

Secular scientists’ lack of logic

See how the bot totally destroys secular thought that tries to remove God's hand in creation.

Do Angles Have Wings, Really?

This is a fun debate with the bot about a subject that most people just take for granted without really looking into it, I'd assume. Read this debate and see if angels really do have wings or not.

Uniformitarian Deep Time Evidence

I talk with the bot about old-Earth vs. young-Earth philosophies. I encourage you to check it out and see if you learn something about the debate that rages across the world.
